Thiago da Silva Teixeira is a software engineer with expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Software Architecture, and Cybersecurity. His work focuses on Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Web Scraping, and Code Optimization, always aiming for efficient and scalable solutions.
Currently, he works as a Software Engineer at Rock Encantech, contributing to the development of high-performance platforms. Previously, he was the CTO and co-founder of the fintech SauvviTech and founded DevHops, a startup focused on technological solutions for challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has experience with Python, Django, TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS, and databases like PostgreSQL and Redshift, as well as working with system security and architecture.
He holds a postgraduate degree in Software Engineering from PUC Minas, a Nanodegree in Artificial Intelligence from Udacity, and certifications in Deep Learning from DeepLearning.AI, Cybersecurity from Google, and Back-End Development from IBM. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology – Paraná (UTFPR) and has been involved in research projects in machine learning and computer vision, publishing recognized academic works.
Among his most notable contributions is the "Retention Layers Method", an innovative technique for puzzle-solving using machine learning. Additionally, he has worked as a researcher in AI applied to accessibility and computer vision and has experience as a lecturer and instructor in the technology field.
